Endoscopic forehead surgery is scarless procedure done to remove lesions on the forehead like Osteomas, Lipomas, Dermoid cysts etc. without leaving a scar on the forehead.

What happens during the procedure?
Patient will be given local anesthesia or a medicine to fall asleep (general anesthetic) and patient may also
be given a medicine to relax (sedative).
A small cut is made inside your hairline in the scalp and the lesion on the forehead is removed using
endoscopic instruments. This means there are no external visible scars. The wound is closed with stiches.
What complications can I expect?
Infection, bleeding, swelling, bruising and pain are common complications that can happen.
What happens after surgery?
This is daycare procedure. You will have some swelling and bruising on the forehead and around your eyes which is normal. You will be able to go back to normal activities from the next day. Strenuous activity like
jogging, gym and sports can be resumed after 3 weeks.
How many days of hospital admission is required?
It is a daycare procedure and you will be discharged from the hospital on the same day of surgery. What does the surgery involve? You will be seen by our anesthetist before surgery and then admitted on the day of surgery. The surgery is conducted under general anesthesia and takes about 1 hour.
